Minnesota

We made a trip back to Minnesota. I have a bad habit of not taking pics on trips! We had a great time though-spent a lot of time relaxing, visited Chez Arnaud (my favorite!), and tried a Greek restaurant ( It's Greek to Me) in Uptown. It's amazing how vacation time flies.

While we were back, I finally FINISHED the Flowers in the Snow blanket. 

I also went through my bedroom at home and did some serious cleaning. Cookie found Horton in my room and fell in love..

I also ran to Michael's to pick up wool and tried felting for the first time. It's kinnda fun throwing your project into the wash and then waiting to see the results..

I love it! Decided to make another one too :)

In the crafting spirit, I purchased some quilted mason jars from Fleet Farm and have some fun plans for these..

 We drove back to Chicago last night. There's a lot more snow in Chicago than Minneapolis.  Cookie is back to her usual self-napping..with Horton.
