I was in need of some crocheting last weekend so I came up with a little project. Just finished this morning. Here it is:

Friday

Chicago is getting a lot of snow today. So much so that my work closed an hour early..I guess this means an early start to the weekend! I tried to get a pic of the snow but with the sun setting I wasn't getting a good shot. 

Instead here are some pics of my next project-a Granny Strip blanket I started last spring. I keep these projects in bags to protect them from all of Cookie's hair.

 

I'm hoping to add several more rows and add a fun boarder. 

Cookie is still in love with Horton..
